Our quest for perfection

Our quest for perfection

The beta version of Spotaplot.com was launched in March 2021 and welcomed by an eager audience who had expressed an interest prior to launch. For those of you who are reading this and registered your interest, thank you. Similarly, to new customers, we welcome you.

We have received some great reviews from customers who had a very positive experience and found plots with great scope that they are now actively pursuing. We also helped long-standing property developers discover potential plots in areas where they thought they knew every plot. We also had some very valuable feedback regarding ways to improve our system, which we welcomed with open arms. We're pleased to announce these new features have been added.

Increase in plot sizes.
The main request from our customers was to increase the size of land that could be searched, so we've increased this from 75-400 sqm to 75-1,000 sqm (807-4,305 sq ft to 807-10,763 sq ft).

Separation distances.
Another great suggestion was to improve the way we process separation distances between existing properties and potential, new properties. As a result of this change, the plots registered on our database dropped slightly, which we expected. This number will soon rise again though because our tech team are currently refining new features that can locate more plot types.

Safety first.
The final addition to this round of updates is the new automated fire and rescue service access checker, which takes into account building regulations distances. By adding this function, our customers are now able to assess the distance a potential plot is from the highway, and the impact this has on their feasibility study.
